Even though self-guided tours are not available in the winter, the ever-changing weather conditions and outstanding views of this drive to New England's tallest peak is an adventure in and of itself. Due to the climb, there are some automobile make/model restrictions, and there may be times they need to close the road due to weather, so it is a good idea to check ahead. The fee for 1 driver and the car is $20; $7 for each additional adult; $5 for children 5-12, and pets are free. Dogs must be on a leash at all times when out of the vehicle, and they are not allowed in any park buildings or on any guided tours. Please clean up after your pet.
