This 60 acre park with an elevation of just over 4,000 feet, shares the history of Pancho Villa, and of the armed invasion he lead against the nation. Extensive historical exhibits/buildings are on the grounds and in the museum/visitor center-the US Customs House-built in 1902, about the invasion and his pursuit by General Pershing. There are also a variety of other recreational pursuits, and great hiking opportunities. Dogs of all sizes are allowed for no additional pet fee. Dogs are allowed on all the trails and throughout the park; they are not allowed in the museum or park buildings. Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after at all times.
