This park is nestled high in the beautiful Sangre de Cristo Mountains, reaches to a 12,075 foot summit, and their season here is usually from Thanksgiving to Easter. In the off season months, dogs are allowed on the mountain and the numerous trails. There are restrooms available, but no other services are available in the off season. Dogs must be under their owner's control at all times, leashed, and cleaned up after on the trails. Dogs are not allowed in the ski park during the ski season.
