The Inn of the Turquoise Bear is a historic Santa Fe bed and breakfast located within walking distance of many downtown cultural and entertainment attractions. In the National Register, it was once the home of poet and essayist Witter Bynner, when it hosted a myriad of celebrities including Edna St. Vincent Millay, Robert Frost, Ansel Adams, Rita Hayworth, Errol Flynn and Georgia O'Keeffe. Today guests of this Santa Fe inn will enjoy their beautiful gardens, charming amenities, and outstanding service. The quintessential rambling adobe villa boasts an acre of terraced gardens, flagstone paths and soaring ponderosa pines, enclosed by adobe walls & coyote fences. Canine companions are free to play and explore the gardens off leash as their temperament allows. Pet owners are asked to be mindful of other guests, cars in the parking area, and to refrain from bringing pets into indoor common areas. The Inn of the Turquoise Bear offers four pet friendly rooms to choose from, and four-legged guests will be welcomed with food and water dishes, treats, a sleeping pad, waste disposal bags, and a helpful information package with listings for pet services, favorite walking routes, and pet-friendly attractions and restaurants. The pet stay fee is $25 per day.
