87501 505-986-4589 Map
The New Mexico capitol building is the only round capitol building in the U.S., and it was made to resemble a Zia Pueblo sun sign, which is also the state symbol. Surrounding the building are 6 ½ acres of lush gardens with more than 100 varieties of flowering plants, nut and fruit trees, sequoias, and shrubs. Dogs are welcome to explore the area with you. Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after at all times.
