Dogs must be on leash and must be cleaned up after. Dogs are not allowed in building sites. The trail goes through many other state parks and other locations. You must follow general rules and pet policies of any state parks and locations that trail goes through. The trail is located in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Tennessee with mainly auto touring and site stops that allow picnicking and some hiking.
