The free Wi-Fi is great, but it's the super-cool rooftop lounge, ambiance and location that keep our guests coming back to INK48 - A Kimpton Hotel. The pet-friendly, 222-room hotel is set in a 16-story former printing house (hence the name) with a rooftop lounge affording sweeping views of the city and Hudson River. Rooms, done up in chocolate, white and red decor, have flat-panel TVs, designer bath products, plush, fluffy bathrobes and iPod docking stations. A full-service on-site spa and a fitness facility are on the premises, and there's an eco-friendly restaurant worth a bite (you can also have a meal sent to your chambers with 24-hour room service). Valet parking is available for a fee. Ink48 is located in Midtown West's Hell's Kitchen, where the views can be stunning since few buildings rise over seven stories tall. JFK International is 17 miles away and LaGuardia Airport is a 10-mile drive. It's a few blocks from the Manhattan Cruise Ship Terminal, the Intrepid Air and Space Museum and the Javits Convention Center, and is just a 15-minute walk to Times Square and the Theater District. Head up the west side to Columbus Circle, Lincoln Center and Central Park, less than two miles away. For lots of luxury and pretty views in a neighborhood that's fun to navigate, INK48 fits the bill.
This luxury boutique hotel offers outstanding city and Hudson River views, service and amenity filled accommodations, a stylish decor, dozens of earth friendly practices throughout the hotel, and fresh local, sustainable, and seasonally inspired cuisine and beverages. Canine guests are also greeted with their own leash, bed and dinnerware to use during their stay, gourmet treats, and various other amenities available through their specialty pet packages.
