Ever watch the NBC or CBS morning shows and see people standing outside holding signs or just wanting to get captured on national TV? Well, the filming locations are right here in the Big Apple. Located just outside the NBC and CBS broadcast studio buildings are designated areas for the public to line up for a chance at 15 minutes of fame. The live cameras film the crowds between 8am and 9am every day. If you want to get in the front of the line, you must arrive around 6am during nice weather and around 7am during bad weather. There is usually a larger crowd on sunny days. Please note that your pooch may not like crowds, especially if you are in the front. People may be pushing to get to the front, so your pooch may prefer to watch from the back. While you are waiting, you can also watch the live morning broadcast and the well-known anchor people from the outside through the large windows at the studios. The NBC studio is located in Rockefeller Center near 49th Street and the CBS studio is located on Fifth Avenue between 58th and 59th Streets.
