This state park offers scenic woodlands located in a rich agricultural region. The lake here is popular for swimming, fishing, canoeing and camping. This park does not allow hunting. Dogs are allowed at this park including on the four miles of hiking trails around the lake, in the picnic areas, and in the campgrounds. Dogs cannot go onto the designated swimming beaches, but are allowed in the lake at non-designated swim areas. Pets must be leashed and cleaned up after. Pets are not allowed inside any buildings. To get there from Toledo, take U.S. 20 West through Fayette to County Road 27. Turn left and drive 2 miles to the park.
