This day use park offers a small beach, launch ramps, fishing pier and picnic areas. Swimming is permitted but there are no lifeguards. Dogs are not allowed on the swim beach or anywhere on the north beaches; however, they are allowed at what they call the South Beach, aka The Boater?s Beach. Directions: Toward the lake on Park Road 1; stay left in the lane and when the lake comes into view turn right; parking is available by the Pavilion. The gravel path to the right will lead to the beach. Dogs may be off leash in this area and while in the water; otherwise they must be kept leashed. Maps are available at the Main Offices, the Camp Store, or at the Check Window. The park is off of State Route 53.
