This 32 mile long trail follows an old railroad trail. It was one of the first rail to trail conversions in the country. Hiking, biking, jogging and skiing are all popular activities along this path. Pets are allowed but need to be leashed and cleaned up after. Pets are not allowed in picnic areas. The trail goes from Hudson Drive in Stow and heads north to Route 8 in Boston Heights. About half of the trail parallels Route 8. In Munroe Falls, the path follows the Cuyahoga River and there you might see Great Blue Herons, Canada Geese, ducks and frogs. The park system has toilets along the path at Springdale, Route 91, Boston Mills Road, Stow Silver Springs Park and Route 303. To get to the trail, there are many starting points including off N. Main Street, State Route 91, just north of the Cuyahoga River in Munroe Falls and off Boston Mills Road, one mile west of Olde Eight Road in Boston Heights.
