A popular destination for naturalist as well as recreationalist, this 1,756 hectare peninsula park offers a Visitor Center, and a Natural Heritage Educational program in addition to a wide range of outdoor activities. Dogs are allowed in the park and in the campground for no additional fee; they must be leashed and cleaned up after at all times. Dogs are not allowed on the public beach; however, there is a small beach, off leash area by the group camp.


IMPORTANT - DogFriendly.com recommends against travel to the Canadian province of Ontario with certain dogs due to this  2005 Breed Specific Legislation that took effect on August 29, 2005
