Open from May to October, this mid-1800s village features more than 40 heritage buildings, 19th century handiwork/workshops, reenactments, horse drawn wagons and boat rides, and dozens of hands-on activities from the pioneer days. They also offer a family fun center, special events, themed activities, an annual Music and Arts Festival on Labor Day weekend, and various dining options - from historical cuisine to a fast food deli. Dogs are allowed at the village; they are not allowed in buildings. Dogs must be leashed and under their owner's control at all times.
