Amenities include free buffet breakfast and a great indoor pool; and for about what you'd normally pay for a standard room, you get a suite at the non-smoking Residence Inn State College, one of the most popular local hotels among our guests. The three-story Residence Inn welcomes you with a very homey lobby that has Wi-Fi access and plenty of quiet corners for socializing with friends or meeting with clients. If you're the type who likes to keep active, this is the hotel for you. Besides a gorgeous indoor heated pool and a fitness room with cardio and strength-training equipment, there are outdoor basketball and tennis courts and a billiards table. The 81 studio, one- and two-bedroom suites all have kitchens with full-size refrigerators, microwaves and stoves. Separate sitting areas include sofa beds and work desks with ample task lighting. Sleeping areas have extra-thick mattresses topped with luxe linens. The free breakfast buffet includes a rotating menu of hot options. Parking is free. Located southeast of the center of town, the Residence Inn is within two miles of the Penn State campus. The hotel is also about two miles from the historic Boal Mansion Museum. A mile north is Centre Hills Country Club, and several other popular golf courses and parks are nearby. When it's time to fly out, University Park Airport is six miles north. A "good location with easy access to everything" is what attracts our guests to this Residence Inn, where they "love having a full kitchen," "great breakfast selections" and a super "pool and hot tub."
Dogs of all sizes are allowed. There is a $75 one time additional pet fee.
