This living history village offers a rich variety of educational and entertainment activities, including a diverse assortment of military and civilian reenactments, exhibits, festivals, an antique car show, classes to learn the old west way of doing things, holiday themed specials, and a lot more. They are open daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day from 9 am to 5 pm (closed on Wednesday); from Labor Day through October 27 they are open Thursday through Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm, and then open a few days on the holidays. Dogs of all sizes are allowed throughout the village; they are not allowed in the buildings or in any food service areas. Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after at all times.
