This elegant, LEED Gold Certified hotel is located downtown in an historic 1929 Art Deco building that has been beautifully restored. In addition to a great central city location and numerous in-house amenities, there have been more than 50 earth-friendly practices and products implemented in the Kimpton Hotels since they formally launched their EarthCare program in 2005. Some of these include an in-house water purification system, all organic and sustainable foods coffee/tea, organic/biodynamic and sustainable wines, and sustainable seafood. Additionally, with a commitment to social responsibility, there is an emphasis on waste reduction, energy and water management, and supporting like-minded sources and organizations. Dogs are allowed for no additional fee; plus they receive a pet amenity package upon arrival. Additionally, pet sitting, grooming, walking, and massage services are also available through the concierge.
