Although popular for its great fishing and recreation center, this 307 acre park also features a 1½ mile interpretive trail with signage on many of the plants and trees. Dogs are allowed throughout the park, on the beach, and at campground; they are not allowed in the cabin areas. Dogs must be on no more than a 6 foot leash and cleaned up after.
