Rich in geology, history, and culture, this park features interpretive programs, an education center, a variety of trails, and various recreational pursuits. Dogs of all sizes are allowed at no additional fee. Dogs may not be left unattended at any time; they must be on no more than a 10 foot leash, and be cleaned up after. Dogs are allowed on all the trails except the Summit Trail. Dogs are not allowed in park buildings. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no electric or water hookups at the campground.
