Crazy Horse Mountain Memorial
Crazy Horse Mountain Memorial 12151 Avenue Of The Chiefs Crazy Horse, South Dakota
57730 605-673-4681 Map
Originally started as a memorial of honor for the traditions, culture, and living history of North American Indians by sculptor Korczak Ziolkowski and Lakota Chief Henry Standing Bear, this site is an amazing endeavor that has been supported without any government tax dollars. There are many special events, fund raisers, and educational and cultural activities throughout the year. Dogs are allowed on the grounds and trail; they are not allowed in the museum complex unless they can be carried. Dogs must be leashed and under their owner's control at all times.
