The Indian Village is a 6 acre prehistoric archeological site that also includes a museum and an archeodome that covers an open archeology dig. It is listed on the National Register and as a National Historic Landmark site; it details life of the Plains Indians some 1,000 years ago and links the past to today's Native American culture and art. Well behaved dogs are allowed; they must be leashed and under their owner's control at all times.
