Known for the site where Meriwether Lewis of Lewis and Clark fame (and then governor of the Upper Louisiana Territory) died of a gunshot wound; this beautiful memorial site offers a variety of recreation, a pioneer cemetery, exhibits, trails, and more. Dogs are allowed in the park and at the campground. Dogs may not be left unattended at any time; they must have proof of vaccinations, be quiet, kept leashed or crated, and under their owner's immediate control at all times. Dogs are not allowed in buildings.
