Dogs are allowed on this world famous landmark, but they must be leashed. The Riverwalk is the second most visited attraction in Texas (the Alamo is the top tourist attraction). The 2 mile walkway follows the San Antonio River, and passes by many outdoor restaurants and shops. Some of the outdoor restaurants are dog-friendly. Please visit our restaurant section under San Antonio for listings. The Riverwalk is located in downtown San Antonio. There are many access points including the following streets: South Alamo, Losoya, Market, and Commerce.
