Free Wi-Fi and a free laundry room make the pet-friendly Candlewood Suites Mount Pleasant a local favorite of our guests. The three-story, 77-room hotel has full kitchens in every suite, including stovetops, refrigerators, dishwashers and all the gadgets and dinnerware you'll need to make and eat your favorite meals. There are also outdoor grills for al fresco cooking. Rooms have free Wi-Fi and flat-panel TVs with DVD players, and there are workstations where you can make your laptop cozy. There's also a business center for heavier work tasks. Work out anytime in the 24-hour fitness center, and keep your sweats clean in the free laundry room. When hunger strikes, you can quell it with a snack from the 24-hour convenience store, or room service from the neighboring restaurant. Pets are welcome for an additional fee. Parking is free. The hotel is on Highway 271, less than two miles from the historic town center of Mount Pleasant. A restaurant is in the adjacent parking lot, and several others are clustered within a few blocks of the hotel. There is also a megastore within walking distance for anything you might need to buy. The area is renowned for its excellent bass fishing, so try your luck at one of seven local lakes. It's 139 miles to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. "Best value" around, our guests say of the Candlewood Suites, which has "superior quality and amenities" and is "fully equipped with everything needed."
