Sugarhouse Park
Sugarhouse Park 1300 East 2100 South Salt Lake City, Utah
84106 801-467-1721 Map
Sugar House Park, a favorite recreation place, is one of the city's largest and most beautiful parks. Some of the attractions include a trail that outlines the park's outer edge, paved trails, a creek that runs through the park to a duck pond on the west end, pavilions for barbecues, playgrounds, sport fields/courts, hills (perfect for sledding in winter),and acres of grass. There are also several events held here each year such as the 4th of July fireworks, and the Strut Your Mutt fundraiser (for homeless pets) usually held in May. The park is open daily from 8 am to 10 pm. Dogs of all sizes are welcome throughout the park, but they must be leashed and cleaned up after at all times.
