Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and one of the town's major attractions, this historic 135 acre graveyard, rich in lore and legend, is the resting place for 2 US Presidents, the only Confederate States President, and 1000's of pioneers of the past - all with stories to tell. Leashed dogs are allowed; they must be human and animal friendly. There are waste receptacles throughout the cemetery, and dogs must be cleaned up after promptly.
