This park is rich in folklore and history, and offers interpretive programs, a variety of land and water activities, and recreation. Dogs of all sizes are allowed for an additional $3 per night per pet for camping, and for $5 per night per pet for cabins. Cabins are available year round. Dogs may not be left unattended, and they must be leashed and cleaned up after. Dogs are not allowed on the beaches or in buildings, but they are allowed on the trails. This campground is closed during the off-season. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. Dogs are allowed in the camping cabins.
