This 553 acre, day use park sits nestled along the northeastern bank of Lake Champlain's Malletts Bay offering various land and aquatic recreation, and great scenic nature trails. The park is seasonal and only open from Labor Day thru Memorial Day. Day use hours are from 6 am until a half hour before sunset; there is no public drinking water supply and fires are not allowed. Dogs are allowed throughout the park; off-leash trails include Muhley, Burns, and Island View; dogs must be under strict voice control. Proof of rabies vaccinations is required, and dogs must be leashed when not in the designated off-leash areas and they must be cleaned up after promptly at all times. Pets are allowed at the beach and may be off leash there only if swimming.
