The Best Western is a non-smoking property with a total of 52 rooms on two floors. Guests stay connected with Wi-Fi and cable TV, and the traditionally decorated rooms also have coffeemakers, microwaves and mini-fridges. A hot buffet breakfast is offered in the lobby each day. Guests get work done in the business center or exercise room. Other perks include an indoor hot tub and pool, a 24-hour front desk and a guest laundry. Pets are allowed for a small fee, and parking is available. An hour south of Spokane, the Best Western is close to the Idaho border in the small town of Colfax. Several casual eateries are within walking distance of the hotel. Other points of interest in town include the Whitman County Historical Society, Codger Pole and Schmuck Park, all within a mile. Guests enjoy the view at Steptoe Butte State Park, 25 minutes north, or head south 45 minutes to get out on the water at Boyer Park & Marina.
