This popular 3.5 mile easy trail goes around Sugar Pine Reservoir. Dogs are allowed on the trail and in the water on non-designated swim beaches. Pets must be either leashed or off-leash but under direct voice control. Please clean up after your pets. The primary season for this trail is usually from May to October. This trail is located in the Tahoe National Forest. To get there from Foresthill, go 18 miles northeast on Foresthill Divide Road.
