Coyote Hills Regional Park

Coyote Hills Regional Park Patterson Ranch Rd. Fremont, California
510-562-PARK
Map
This regional park has Ohlone Indian shellmound sites with fascinating archaeological resources. This Indian site can be viewed from the Chochenyo Trail. For a longer hike, try the 3.5 mile long BayView bike trail. There are many other numerous trails that wind through the park which offer scenic vistas of the San Francisco Bay. Dogs must be on leash. They are not allowed in the seasonal wetlands, marshes, or the Visitor Center lawn area. But there are plenty of dog-friendly trails around to satisfy you and your pup. Coyote Hills is at the west end of Patterson Ranch Road/ Commerce Drive in Fremont. From I-880, take Highway 84 west, exit at Paseo Padre Parkway and drive north. Turn left on Patterson Ranch Road (parking fee).
