Free Wi-Fi, an indoor pool, fitness and business centers and a pet-friendly policy make the non-smoking TownePlace Suites by Marriott a favorite of our guests in Redwood City. The TownePlace Suites has four floors and 95 suites with water views overlooking a wildlife preserve. Separate living areas have sofa beds, and kitchens are fully equipped. Each suite features a desk with ergonomic chair, free Wi-Fi and flat-panel TV with premium cable and pay movies. Pets are welcome for an additional fee. After a good night's rest on Marriott's signature bedding, enjoy a free continental breakfast and free newspaper. A full-service business center makes last-minutes tasks easier, and a fitness room, hot tub, barbeque/picnic area and walking trail beside the hotel offer options for relaxation and play. The hotel provides an ATM, guest laundromat, valet dry cleaning and free parking. Less than a half-mile from Highway 101, the hotel is three miles from downtown Redwood City. Menlo Park and Palo Alto are within a 15-minute drive, and it's 28 minutes to downtown San Jose. Stanford University and California's Great America are each about 25 minutes away. Day trips to explore either downtown San Francisco's attractions or the surf and sand at Half Moon Bay Beach are a half-hour drive. The hotel is 14 miles from San Francisco International Airport. "Spacious hotel rooms" and a "friendly staff" make the TownePlace Suites "very nice to come back to after a long day," our guests say.
