This easy paved trail, set amongst pine and conifer trees, has two small paved loops which total 1.2 miles in length. The elevation ranges from about 3,640 to 3,700 feet. Pets must be leashed and please clean up after them. The trail is located in the Eldorado National Forest. From Highway 50 in Pollock Pines, take Sly Park Road south (away from the Safeway). Drive about 6 miles to the parking area and trailhead on the left side of the road. There is ample parking.
