The campground is located in a 6,040 acre park which features a lake, hiking/interpretive trails, equestrian trails, seasonal swimming pool, launch ramps, boat rentals, and a camp store. Dogs are allowed on the trails and in the campgrounds, but not in the lake or within 50 feet of the lake. Dogs must be on a 6 foot or less leash and please clean up after them. There is an additional fee of $2 per night per pet. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground.
