Covering almost 2000 acres of beach and uplands on the Mendocino Coast, this park offers a variety of camp sites; some are on a 1st come 1st served basis, but reservations are suggested. The park offers a visitor center, wi-fi, showers, restrooms, picnic areas, and a dump station. Dogs of all sizes are allowed for no additional fee. Dogs may be on paved roads, fire roads, on the beach, and in the campground area; they are not allowed on the trails. Dogs must be under owner's immediate control, and leashed and cleaned up after at all times. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.
