The French Festival Poodle Parade
The French Festival Poodle Parade Junipero and Alamar Streets at Oak Park Santa Barbara, California
93101 805-564-PARIS (7274) Get Map or Directions
This event is held every Bastille Day, July 14. It is sponsored by the Santa Barbara French Festival, and is the largest French celebration in the Western U.S. with all the sights, sounds, art, foods, wines, and exuberance of France. There is even a model Eiffel Tower. There is a menagerie of free entertainment, but the "Poodle Parade" where every dog can strut their stuff (and their most impressive costumes) is one of the biggest and most fun draws. Dogs must be well mannered, leashed, and cleaned up after. Your dog doesn't have to be a poodle to attend.
