Top 200 Places: Walk the Quebec City Wall with your Dog

Quebec is the only fortified city in North America. It boasts a 4.5 km (3 mile) wall around the old city area. Fortifications of Quebec National Historic Site offers the visitor to Quebec the opportunity to walk this wall and see exhibits about the wall and the history of the city. You can take a self-guided or a guided tour. Dogs on leash are allowed to accommpany you in all outdoor areas of the park. They are not allowed in any buildings. Dogs may walk the outside areas of the wall or the park. Dogs must be cleaned up after and be well-behaved.
