Banana Cade
This downtown Key West restaurant serves French-Caribbean cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The bright, banana-themed eatery features both indoor and outdoor seating. Favorite breakfast dishes include the Florida lobster eggs benedict, Caprese benedict, and a variety of delicious sweet and savory crepes. They La Key Lime Crepe is a popular sweet choice, as is the French Banana Split, while savory favorites are the L’Americaine (8oz sirloin steak, bacon, bleu cheese sauce), the La Seafood (shrimp and scallops, sauteed mushrooms & tomatoes, creamy lime sauce), or the La French Country (goat cheese, candied walnuts, petite salad). Dinner selections include delicious entrees such as the Half-Roasted Duck, Pan Roasted Yellowtail Snapper, and a grilled salmon dish. Drinks include locally roasted coffee, including the french raspberry latte, a selection of white, red, and rose wines, sangria pitchers, and the local-themed key lime white sangria.
Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome at the two outdoor patios. One is a rooftop patio, and one is at ground level. Dogs enjoy ice waters of their own.
