Although dogs are not allowed in the lighthouse or on the beaches from April 15th to August 15, and never on the trails here, they are allowed in the park and picnic areas which provide visitors with great views of the ocean and waterway activities. Dogs are allowed on the park beaches from October 1 through April 14 each year. Dogs are welcome for no additional fee. Dogs must be under their owner’s control, leashed, and cleaned up at all times.
