This pet day care and kennel has replaced the Disney World kennels for visitors to the Disney theme parks. The Disney kennels are now closed. Lucky dogs would agree there is nothing else like the luxury pet resort located across from Disney’s Port Orleans Resort: it has 17,000 square feet of air-conditioned indoor space,,, 10,000 square feet of covered outdoor runs and play areas, and a secure 25,000-square-foot dog park with varied terrains, a 1,300 square foot splash-and-play feature, a scenic trail, and sitting areas for their human companions. There is room for up to 300 pets, day and/or night, in accommodations ranging from a comfortable standard 32 square-foot to a spacious 226 square foot suite with a TV, a raised bed, and a private outdoor yard. Some a la carte amenities include ice cream treats, social play groups,,, cuddle time with bedtime stories, orthopedic bedding, and bottled water. Although pet food is available on site, visitors may bring their own pet’s food, treats, toys, or other special comfort items. The fee is $16 per pet for up to 6 hours and $27 per pet for over 6 hours. Discounts are available for vacation club or annual pass holders.
