Bok Tower Gardens
Located between Tampa and Orlando, this popular garden and bird sanctuary offers 50 acres of Olmsted gardens, a 2.5-acre children’s garden, and the 205-foot art deco and neo-Gothic Singing Tower carillon. The gardens feature a large wildlife population which includes 126 different species of birds as well as the threatened gopher tortoise and endangered eastern indigo snake. Guests take one of two winding paths through the gardens to enjoy the views and the wildlife. The gardens are open from 8 am to 6 pm 365 days a year, with shortened hours on holidays. There is an on-site visitor center, the Blue Palmetto Cafe, and the Shop at Bok which are open from 9 am to 5 pm daily.
Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome to accompany you on the paths and lawns for $5 per day dog admission. Garden members enjoy free doggy admissions.
