Buckeye Lake State Park

Constructed as a canal feeder lake in 1826, Buckeye Lake is Ohio’s oldest state park. It is a popular vacation spot and offers activities such as swimming, skiing, boating, and fishing. Dogs are allowed at this park including in the water. Pets must be leashed, cleaned up after, and are not allowed inside any buildings. This park permits hunting in certain areas.
