Description
Pets are not allowed inside Cedar Point Amusement Park (except for service animals) but they do have air conditioned or fan cooled kennels called the ”Pet Chek”. All breeds of dogs are allowed as long as they are under control and leashed. Large dogs like Great Danes and St. Bernards can be accommodated in one of their six large runs. They have a total of 44 enclosed cages and runs. Shot records are not required. Kennel reservations as well as overnight boarding is not available. Day boarding costs about $10 per day per pet even if two of your dogs go into one cage or run. The Pet Chek is located near the Cedar Point Marina across from the bus parking lot. Pets are not allowed at Cedar Point’s hotels, on the beach, at the swimming pools or in the picnic areas. They are allowed on leash at Camper Village and in the Cedar Point Marina. The park is located on a Lake Erie peninsula, between Cleveland and Toledo in Sandusky. Take Interstate 80/Ohio Turnpike to Exit 118(7) and follow the signs north on US 250, or take Exit 110(6A) and follow Route 4 north. Once in Sandusky, follow the signs to the Cedar Point Causeway.
