This is Salt Lake City’s only open-air mall, and it delivers the ultimate shopping, entertainment, and dining experience with more than 105 restaurants and stores. The mall is a beautifully restored 1908 Union Pacific Train Depot featuring early French Renaissance architecture and original artwork. The Olympic Legacy Plaza features a classic clock tower overlooking the ”dancing waters” of the Olympic Snowflake Fountain, and you will find a variety of shops for all budgets. Regular hours for the Gateway are Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 9 pm and on Sunday from noon to 6 pm. There may be extended hours during the summer and holidays. Dogs of all sizes are welcome to explore the mall with their owners and maybe even some of the stores. Dogs must be well-behaved, leashed, and cleaned up at all times.
