Some of the sites to be seen along this driving tour include the Freedom Corner, an African-American research center, the Old Capitol Museum-the country’s first permanent Civil Rights exhibit, the Jackson State University, the historic Tougaloo College, the Medgar Evers Library/statue, a variety of churches, and much more. Brochures can be obtained at the visitor center. Dogs must be leashed when out of the vehicle, and they are not allowed in buildings.
