This casual beach is one of the most dog-friendly beaches in the Keys. It’s open daily from 7:30 am to dusk and is described by the city as more of a natural beach area with an adjacent wetland area. It has long stretches of sandy beaches for doggies to explore, as well as shallow water to play in. It’s located on Coco Plum Drive in Marathon Key. Once you turn South on Coco Plum Drive, the beach entrance is 1.5 miles down on the right. Dogs are welcome on the beach. Please keep them leashed and pick up after them.
