Cumberland Island National Seashore

The 50+ miles of hiking trails on this beautiful forested island take visitors through a variety of natural habitats abundant with marine/bird/wildlife, historic areas, open fields, and various waterways and beaches. Dogs are allowed on the island; however, they are not allowed in campgrounds or on the ferry to the island. Dogs are not allowed in buildings or swimming areas; they must be on no more than a 6-foot leash at all times; they may not be left unattended at any time, and they must be cleaned up after.
