This heritage town allows guests a ‘yesteryear’ experience through a variety of experiences. They offer train and wagon train rides, numerous historical structures, period-dressed docents, several nostalgic shops, interpretive displays, live theater, guided tours, special events, and cuisines of the past. Dogs are allowed at the fort for no additional fee. They must be kept leashed and cleaned up after promptly. Dogs are not allowed in any food service areas, and the entry to the fort serves food so pets must be kept outside while someone buys tickets: Then pets and owners may enter from a side gate.
