Dogs are allowed in the park and on the beach at the Jamaica Bay Unit. Stop at the visitor’s center located off Cross Bay Blvd. for information about beach locations. The park is located near the JFK airport. To get there from the Shore (Belt) Parkway, exit 17 south (Crossbay Blvd.) and go over the bridge. Continue about 1 to 2 miles to the park entrance on the right. Dogs are not allowed during plover seasons.
