Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve

This 325 acre reserve is located in the un-dyked floodplain of the Vedder River, and is home to more than 200 Great Blue Heron nests in addition to a variety of vegetation and wildlife. Dogs are not allowed throughout the entire reserve. They are allowed on the main center trail that leads to the river. Dogs must be under their owner’s control, leashed, and cleaned up after at all times.
