Popular for the excellent bird and wildlife viewing, this park also features about 3 miles of wooded hiking trails and scenic observation platforms, plus it is home to the Stevens Nature Center where they have an outdoor educational shelter, a native wildflower garden, and a hands-on educational exhibit hall. Dogs are allowed throughout the preserve on the trails only. Dogs must be leashed and picked up after, and they are not allowed in buildings.
